The Ethical Committee (formerly Disciplinary Committee) can be characterised as the Finnish Kennel Club’s ethical board, which existence and judgements primarily have a nature of steering the respect for rules and, in animal protection matters, a punitive significance.
The Ethical Committee processes disciplinary matters and matters of breach of rules and regulations as assigned by the Board. The Council elects an Ethical Committee for a term of three years, including a Chair and six members.
