The Finnish Kennel Club is hosting the FCI World Dog Show 2025 in Helsinki. We are looking forward to arrange an unforgettable event for dog lovers all over the world under ”the Helsinki brand”. The year 2025 will be the third time when the event will be held in Finland. The day before WDS, there will also be 65 Circuit Shows for more than 257 breeds.

Helsinki is easy to reach and to move around in. There are direct flights to Helsinki Airport from 140 destinations, with about 200 international arrivals daily. The airport is located 30 minutes (20 kilometres) from the city centre, with fast train connections to the city centre.

Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a dog-friendly city with a hotel capacity of 16,000 rooms in the area. Helsinki is a safe, stable, and sustainable city with quality infrastructure and services. The city is located by the sea and nature is close.

We offer facilities for both the FCI World Dog Show and the FCI General Assembly, all under the same roof including hotel and restaurant services. The venue, Messukeskus, Expo and Convention Centre Helsinki, is located close to the centre of Helsinki. The venue has space for big events and holds up to 120,000 people.
