The Finnish Kennel Club’s subsidiary company Showlink Oy offers their dog show services and the digital system for entries, dog shows, result service, and recording of results for Germany and the World Dog Show 2017. The Finnish Kennel Club and the German Kennel Club Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen conducted a cooperation agreement on 22 December 2016. The World Dog Show in Germany is held on 9–12 November 2017 in Leipzig.
The digital system has already been in use at the Helsinki World Dog Show 2014 and at the Milan World Dog Show 2015.
The World Dog Show in Germany will follow the same model as the previous shows – the results are fed with tablets directly to the internet. With this quick online result service, the results can be reviewed online in real time.
– With the cooperation, we can offer the exhibitors a modern and proven entry system. This full service is outstanding and we are happy to have the Finnish Kennel Club on our side, states Leif Kopernik the CEO of the German Kennel Club.
– The project brings us international visibility. Using the system at the Milan World Dog Show 2015 was the first step, and the cooperation with Germany is natural continuation for the services Showlink offers, says Johanna Tuomi, the CEO of Showlink.
The digital system is developed by another subsidiary company of the Finnish Kennel Club, Prettybit Projects Oy. The CEO of Prettybit Projects Juha Tenhunen says, that the digital system can well be used for projects abroad. The cooperation with Germany is significant for the whole Finnish Kennel Club group.
– Cooperation with other Kennel Clubs shows, that we have done a good job with the development of the system. We are glad that we are able to help Germany in execution of the World Dog Show 2017, says Helena Suni, the Chair of the Board of the Finnish Kennel Club.
